I'm a doctor of chiropractic, but I'm also a member of the American College of Sports Medicine as well as a member the ACA Council on Sports Injuries and Physical Fitness. Chiropractors are among very few health professionals who have core training in fitness, nutrition and functional restoration. There are also some medical subspecialties who focus directly on physical fitness and nutrition, but this is generally not part of the curriculum in American Medical Schools.
